We've included a Quick Start Guide in the box to get you up and running in 5 minutes or less. You can also download a PDF of the Quick Start Guide.
Setting up Starling Home Hub is as easy as 1-2-3:
- Connect Starling Home Hub to the Internet router that is providing your home Wi-Fi (or to a switch connected to this router, if you do not have enough spare ports) using the supplied Ethernet cable. If you are using a mesh network, Starling Home Hub must be connected to the gateway router (or to a switch connected to the gateway router), not to a satellite point.
- Connect Starling Home Hub to a convenient outlet using the supplied power adapter and cable.
- Get the Starling Home Hub app from the Apple App Store on any iPad, iPhone or Apple Silicon Mac on your home network, then follow the in-app instructions to configure your hub.
That's it! All of your Nest devices will now appear in your iOS Home app, and any other HomeKit-enabled apps.
Want to set up your hub using a non-Apple device or desktop computer? Use our legacy browser-based setup at setup.starlinghome.io.
